Applegate Trail Peacemakers is an official club, and is part of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association. Twice a month the Peacemakers hold a practice for members and non-members. They provide amo and allow you to use their guns if you do ont have your own. All ages can do mounted shooting. From little kids all the way up to adults.
Top Left: Kari Shafer fills balloons so broken balloons on the course can be replaced by new ones. Shafer is the parent of one of the members and stays to help during the practice while her daughter rides.
Largest photo: Tim Cooper shoots at balloons while running through the first part of the course. Each Course has to be done it a specific order and requires you to change guns at some point during the course.
Smallest: Maria Haaby gets her guns back from being loaded so she can shoot her coursea when it becomes her turn.
Bottom Right: Dwayne Haaby loads guns for member becase no one is allowed to load their own, for safety reasons.
Bottom Left: Members take a break from shooting while the course is being changed. Horses get a chance to take a break from running, and their riders can rest.

Right now my photo story is either going to be the harvest festival that my towns school puts on every year or one of the mounted shooting practices that i go to. I plan on taking different types of photos like portraits, overall shots, and feature photos.

Crow, Oregon
The Crow Grange has been apart of Crow sence 1911. It was very recently remodeled because the roof way sagging and starting to leak. The Grange is the olny place to go to play bingo and enjoy a wonderful dance.
Loyd Lutz enjoys riding his quad at the beach with his wife Tina. Lutz also works in Crow as the bus mechanic and a substitute bus driver when he is needed.
Haley Zimmerman's dog Riley starts to fall asleep on her lap at a home football game after running around on the football field with her at half time.

News photo; Halloween at LBCC
Roxie Putman celebrates Halloween by dressing as a joker and decorating her work space in the Admissions office at LBCC. Putman invites students over to roll two dice for prizes and enter in a drawing for a One Million Dollar candy bar, which will be held at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon. Putman and her colleagues all dress up and turn their room into a casino where students can come and get free candy by playing different games.

Jaleesa loves her horses
Jaleesa Mobley, 17, a student at Elmira High School, teaches horseback riding to young kids that she knows in her community. She also does the Oregon High School Equestrian Team with her horse Blue. She has competed at state each year and earned state champion last year in Working Pairs. In her free time Mobley enjoys working with her horses and hanging out with her friends. |
